Equine_Breeder:  I don’t know how you do it! You’re a better woman than me!! I’ve never actually NTNP but I’m wondering, do you bd eod for two weeks during the middle of you cycle? Just curious how it works!!

Oh, and btw, my sister and friend both got pregnant twice (first cycle for both pregnancies doing it) doing it and I’m TTC for 13 cycles!!! Lol. Maybe I should try it!

FWIW, all my close friends, my sister and my mom (except for my one friend who had IUI) got pregnant this way. I don’t know of one person IRL who temps or charts. I also don’t know how long it took each of them but none of them struggled, as far as I know.

We were just winging it and BDing whenever. It didn’t chart, temp, OPKs…. We just stopped BC and it took us 6 months

We did that for 6 months. No luck. My other friend did that took 8 months. really I think it depends on the fertility of the couple. DH and I have hit almost every fertile window once and it hasn’t worked yet. But I know plenty of people where it was like “it only takes one time!”

Equine_Breeder:  he could always get an analysis done. I wanted DH to just to cross that off the list but he said “there is no way my boys can’t swiM.”

lol my DH doesn’t lack confidence.

Equine_Breeder:  I don’t trust apps to tell when I’m fertile bc honestly you can honestly ovulate anytime. We actually only BDed two times the month I got preggo, so it does work!

We were lucky that it only took us two months. I was nervous since I had been on BC for 10 years and had no idea how long it would take my cycles to get back to normal.

It took 7 months, but it was probably only 6 cycles (I had a random super late period for the first time ever in the middle).

I’m on the same boat as you, I don’t really want to chart being that it seems stressful and it seems as if i wouldnt enjoy BD a lot. Lol so I’m going with the flow, this is my first cycle and I’m supposed to have my period this following Friday so waiting and seeing if AF shows up.. But I did just got off BCP recently so who knows if ill even have my period on that day that my fertility calendar says.

Equine_Breeder:  when I stopped BC I used FF to track periods and we used POM. The first time he didn’t pull out I got pregnant. It was my second cycle off BC so I had no idea when I was fertile (FF that cycle gave me like a 2.5 week long potential fertile period and we DTD once at the very end). I think we just got super lucky.
