This makes such a fun poll question. I realized that my wall shelf/ bookcase question would actually give us a chance to express who we are and what we love in our lives.

So, if you were to have a case that displayed your favorite things to the world and let them know all about you ... what kind of person you are ... what would you have displayed?

    If you'd like to play .... =)

I must have fancy chocolates because I'm obsessed with chocolate and most definitely pictures of the wedding... like my dress + family with H and I. Pictures of me as a baby with my mom bc they make me happy. Hmm... what else. When I think of it I'll list more.

    What would you have?

I like this question! Things that represent me - photos of hiking in the mountains, my hiking boots, a bottle of wine, Lindt chocolates (yummmmmmm!), BOOKS (love to read), a cup of tea, and soon - my nursing degree. Yipee!

    HMMM...

    • Lots of pics to represent the people in my life : Kids, FI, Parents, sis, friends, etc.
    • a cross or a bible.  My faith is a big part of me.
    • Recipes b/c I'm a foodie and I love to cook - plus family tradition :)
    • Coffee
    • a loaded Ipod or 5.  I am constantly in need of music.
    • My Divorce Recovery Workbook.  It represents where I've been and how far I've made it
    • the shreds that are left of my security blanket.
    • My sheerah doll (she's on my desk right now) b/c I can do anything
    • a notebook and a pen - writing - hopefully turned blogging is my therapy, my outlet, and my niche
    • a netbook (pink would be best) to keep me in touch with the hive.
    • a few good books...

Pugs, pugs and more pugs. They've played a huge part in my life- my dad got us one right before he died, my FI got me thru the pug's death (at only 4) and then we adopted 3 of our own... when I finally get them, I'd display the cake toppers for our wedding cake (PUGS) and the drawing of pugs we commissioned.

I hope no one thinks I'm TOO weird!

    I would put:

    - an album of photos from birth to now (yes, cheating a bit but photos of memories are  important to me)

    - my favorite coffee mug that resembles a flamingo

    - my laptop, cable remote control (since it has the DVR buttons), and Cell Phone

    - my Tri-County Humane Society volunteer and my Walk For Animals T-shirts

    - books ranging from professional (AP Guidelines, Real World Color Management) to self help (Awaken the Giant Within) to fluff (Twilight, Harry Potter) to really campy romance novels

    - DVD collection (Wedding Crashers, Office Space, Green Mile, Dirty Dancing just to name a few)

    - CD collection (assortment including but not limited to: Credence, Madonna, Taylor Swift, Etta James, Bon Jovi)

    - good bottle of wine

    - cocktail shaker

    - canister of slim jims

    - my sexiest pair of black stilettos

Yep, I have a pretty loaded bookshelf. Then again, my background is in PR so it only illustrates my need to get the message out. :)

    My shelf would display:

    The Twilight books

    The Chronicles of Narnia books

All my little cutsie animal figurines, including Japanese cats & cactus pups

    Candles

Pics of my family, my fiance, my best friend & my cat

    Chocolate cake with chocolate icing

    Plants (bamboo & philodendron)

    My Cute Overload page-a-day calendar

That's all I can think of right now
