The wow dress definitey
The wow dress definitey
I went for the WOW dress…no regrets!
Comfort!!! I almost chose a dress that didn’t look good just because of how soft it was.
I’d go for the wow dress. But there’s no reason you can’t go for a wow dress and comfortable shoes. To me, that’s the best of both worlds.
I figured since I was only going to get to wear it for a couple of hours at most, so I decided to go for “wow factor” over comfort. However, my dress ended up being the most comfortable thing I wore that week! I didn’t want to take it off! So it’s possible to find a dress that wows while being comfortable as well.
They can’t both be equal if one “wow”s people and one doesn’t. Obviously you’re interested in the “wow” or you wouldn’t be asking.
Do you wear yoga pants when you go out for date night or do you wear a nicer outfit that is slightly less comfortable but way better looking?
moveslikejagr : actually…it was a hypothetical question lol. people have asked me to put up pictures but I wanted people to think about their own situations and choices, not help me personally make a decision.
They can be equal imo. “doesn’t wow people” being a simpler (NOT plain, as plain can wow as well) and more generic dress. A dress that you’ve seen basically everywhere, perhaps. Or less detailing than you’d like.
Yoga pants aren’t appropriate for date nights. It’s like asking me if I’m considering to wear my pajamas to my wedding. Note I’m asking about two wedding dresses, not yoga pants vs wedding dress. For date nights I think it would be more appropriate to ask: would you wear killer heels that make you look slimmer/taller or flats that you can walk 10km in?
My original dress was a comfortable dress and I started regretting it after a month or two because I just felt like it wasn’t bridal enough.. it felt more like an evening gown/prom dress.
I found my dream dress by what practically felt like fate and it’s definitely the wow dress now. I’ve always wanted something over the top because it’s my wedding day and I wear dresses all the time, there’s only one special day in my life where I get to where a dress like the one I have now.
I’m so excited!
The most important thing for me would be to enjoy the day and have fun. If the wow dress was uncomfortable to the point that I would be counting down the minutes to get out of it, then I would pass on it and wear the dress that is both pretty and let’s me feel good.
I originally picked a mermaid for the wow factor but as tight as it was just to sit in, I knew dancing and moving around would be difficult. I went with a flowy A-line/ballgown and it was perfect.
