I voted for the birdcage veil, I think that would be absolutely stunning with the dress. Your dress has a classic elegance about it and I think a short veil or birdcage style veil would be very flattering.
Im not usually a super huge fan of bird cage veils but I think with the dress shape and style it would look really classy and pretty :) that got my vote!
I’m not a fan of shorter veils and I think the birdcage veil would look great with your dress!!
I think a birdcage would look great with your dress, but I also think a long veil would look even prettier.
Thanks for the thoughts everyone! Looks like the votes are pretty split. :)
I think the birdcage thing is going out, so I chose the first one, which has a similar, but fresher feel. The only one I personally hate is the third one (elbow length embellished) because I don't think it will lookgoods with the sleeve on your dress.
I voted elbow length, because I think the "short" one would clash with the arm caps of your dress.... out of the two 'birdcage' veils, I prefer the tulle one... but my first choice would be an elbow length veil. But I guess it depends on the general theme and feel of your day.... :)
I just don't see a traditional veil with that dress.... which by the way is STUNNING!!! I picked the birdcage because I think you can never go wrong with a birdcage with a lace dress. But, I agree with @brenda.m.fields: because the first is a fresher take on the birdcage.
@MrsB2012: Thank you! I agreed with you but I was second-guessing if I liked the birdcage with my dress :) But I thought the birdcage or the blusher would be fitting for my outdoor ceremony/reception. Thanks!
I didn't really think about the embellished edge with the cap sleeves of my dress. I thought a slight embellishment might be okay but I'm leaning towards just plain tulle. Thanks!

So I have my dress, but I didn't really try on veils when I purchased it, and I'm trying to pick what kind of veil I want to wear. Originally, I was leaning towards a birdcage veil, but now I'm not so sure. But I'm not into long veils. My wedding is going to be outdoors near a garden and pond. My dress is all over lace with a cap sleeve and a bit of sparkle. Opinions would be great! Thanks!
These are some examples I liked - not necessarily the veil I would buy.
Option 1:
A tulle blusher - something like this with a different flower clip

Option 2:

Option 3:
elbow length veil with embellished edge

Option 4:
short 2-tier veil

Here is my dress...
Thanks in advance :)
