I’m down to champagne, gold, and blush vs champagne, gold, and mint for my wedding colors. I made collages with my dress to help with visualization.
Blush is so elegant, but I feel like it might blend in too much with my champagne dress. Plus I feel like it’s overdone.
Mint is so gorgeous and unique but it’s much harder to find the perfect shade. Also not sure it matches my champagne dress as well.
Which do you prefer?

I love the addition of mint but you really can’t go wrong either way with such an amazing dress!

DizzyBee86: I love the champagne, gold, and blush. It’s soft, luscious, and dreamy. Such a classic combination.
To be honest, I’m not really seeing mint in the second collage. What’s showing up on my computer screen in the second collage is more of a muted baby blue than a mint. When I think mint, I think a brighter blue with more green in it.

DizzyBee86: I voted for blush, but if you were to go with mint, maybe this sort of colour?
i think a bluer shade would also work:

DizzyBee86: I think most votes will go to blush, like you said it’s the more commonly used choice. This is for your wedding though, so I would say go with what you love! You don’t have to choose what the majority of brides prefer, that’s what makes your day unique and you. I think either color will go together beautifully with champagne 🙂

DizzyBee86: I voted blush, but I think you could do blush with pops of mint elsewhere, in the bouquets or centerpieces, etc. Honestly, though, with a dress like that, no matter what you choose is going to look awesome. I also have a champagne dress and I’ve found anything in the muted color scheme really shines. I changed my color scheme a week ago or so after seeing a mauve and bordeaux colored bridesmaids dress next to my dress at the bridal salon. I thought it looked so lovely:

DizzyBee86: I vote blush. It’s a beautiful shade and while it is doen often, I definitely feel mint is the ‘trendier’ shade. Mint is beautiful, but IMO more for a birthday party or baby shower than a wedding.

Mint waa one of my colours and I have to say its a tough colour- everyone thinks of it differently, some more blue, some more green etc. I think the blush looks better w ur dress 🙂

MissMarple: you’re right. I guess I was thinking more of a Tiffany’s blue?
jenny1217: beautiful!!! Best of both worlds you got there.
clairebbbear: yes I have those lovely pics saved in my phone too!! Decisions decisions…
MrsMeowton: your dress is so gorgeous. I think the color scheme complements it beautifully!
thanks everyone! I guess I’m leaning more towards blush now unless I can find the perfect mint shade (more blue and muted)

Mint! My dress is champagne and my colors are mint, navy, gold, and coral (destination wedding). I didn’t want blush because it is so common right now and because it felt more “rustic” to me than elegant.

I think Blush looks amazing with your dress…. but I also love mint and am crrently tossing up between a blush with lemon or blush with mint combo myself with my diamond white tulle gown!
Good luck and let us know what you decide 🙂
