I’ve been having such trouble trying to decide if I should exchange the wedding band I recently bought. I have a 14K white gold engagment ring and enhancer from Kay’s that I absolutely love. I was sure I wanted a rose gold wedding band, and last month I got a rose gold ring from Kay’s to use as a wedding band:
A few days ago, I looked at the Kay website and noticed that they are now also offering this ring in 10K white gold! I’m so torn if I should exchange my ring or not. The white gold version isn’t available in stores yet, so I can’t try it on to directly compare.
Which one do you guys like better? I appreciate any opinions! 🙂

White gold, but I’m extremely biased when it comes to white gold – I love it!

I’m a boring classic person when it comes to a wedding set. I feel like you can always have a fun rose gold RHR (I love mine ) but a wedding set is forever and you have to like it always and feel like it goes with everything and while mixing metals is fun and popular now, I’m not sure if I’d be into it a few years down the road still…but that’s just me. As I said, I’m boring. It seems most people on this site are a little less traditional than I am when it comes to jewelry, haha

I love rose gold, but I think the white gold would be gorgeous with your e-ring.

I don’t like the rose gold sorry. Your ering is just gorgeous and I think the white band will look chic yet classic with it. It will be a look you could have forever and it will always look stunning. I don’t feel the same way about the rose gold but that’s just *my* opinion.

I think the issue isn’t the color, it’s the width of the band compared to your e-ring.

@MissMishyMoo: Unless you picture yourself wearing them on different hands, I would definitely match. But there are mix-matched Bees, so you wouldn’t be the only one if you decide to keep it!

I don’t like this ring in either color with your e-ring. It’s overpowering. I would return it and keep looking

@distracts: You’re right, the wedding band definitely does overpower the e-ring. But the wedding band is very pretty!

@MissMishyMoo: i think the rose gold is fun, but would look great with a thinner band. 🙂

@trixiesrockets: +1. In my opiniion mixing metals looks best when the bands are thin. I like the ring but I think you should order the white gold and see! You can always send it back……….

I don’t care for the rose gold ring because it competes with your beautiful e-ring. It’s too much contrast, IMO. would do the white gold or get a thinner band in rose gold.

@wrkbrk: That’s true! I think I might have to order the white gold just so I can see it in person and compare. I could always return that one too…and I do have a almost a year before my wedding so there’s still plenty of time 🙂
Thanks for all your opinions! My fiance wasn’t much help haha

@MissMishyMoo: are you going to wear them together or seperate? separate = rose, ’cause it’s fun. Together = white, because the band is thicker, I think it would blend nicely. If it had been a skinny band, I think I would have said rose either way. BUT – this is all personal preferance.. What do you like?

Thanks for all your comments! i know this poll is a few months old, but I’ve been indecisive! I’m keeping the rose gold ring (either to wear on its own or as a RHR), and I’m considering this as a wedding band:
