Definitely the food & drink, photography and rentals for the venue.
The food! Its 75% of my budget since we're having a reception with 320 guests.
We are spending the most on our venue followed by the food. The venue is costing so much because we are renting a beach house and there are extra fees ontop of the regular rental fees (a refundable security deposit and a special event fee for wear and tear on the property). We are saving money other places by doing the flowers ourselves and such.
Definitely food and booze, but with that we also get the rental of the venue.
Rentals! We're having a backyard tented wedding. Food is close second.
i picked food and venue because it's a restaurant with a min. bill, no rental fee!
For us the tent/table/chair rentals and our photographer were the two things that cost more than anything else.
I suspect photography will be our #2, but food is definintely #1. The venue I assume we'll end up at is on a Chr College campus, so no booze... big savings with a built in excuse.
Food for sure, although the venue costs are worked into the catering costs so I guess it's kinda all together. Photographer is definitely #2!
