Attached is a loose approximation of what our dessert tree will look like.
Our wedding is in a garden with lots of natural, rustic details like twine, burlap, multi-colored vintage apothocary bottles, lilacs, etc.
Thanks for the input!

Personally like the bunting better, but I think both would be super cute!

I think the hearts are really cute and I haven’t seen a topper like them before.

I like the hearts, mostly because the bunting is so common now. I think the hearts are more unique, plus super cute!

@Krpink: Thanks—yeah I had the same thought about the bunting, I’m kind of over it as a trend but then I love this cake topper so I became conflicted, haha!

I’m for the bunting as well! I think it’s sweet. I had a crazy thought – could you do both of them? Haha, it might be too much, but I was thinking they might look cute together.

@Buttercupmcgee: I think @pengoala: might be on to something! You could use the hearts as the posts from which to hang the bunting.

Bunting. The hearts look strange to me.

@Buttercupmcgee: Huge sucker for anything crocheted, so the hearts have to get my vote. However, as already suggested – could you combine them with the bunting? You could string them up and place them between the sticks or do something like this:
Hm… Actually, I might nick this idea myself! Made my first crocheted heart just the other day, so I can totally pull this off! Ah… weddingbee at its best, giving and taking of ideas. 🙂
