i need help!!!! I am looking to do pomander centerpieces and I am curious how do I attach the pomander to the trumpet vase. The opening of the vase is 4″ and I am looking to use 6″ stirofoam balls. Please provide me any information.

I hot glued mine to the vase, they peeled right off again afterwards. If your vase isn’t clear, and you don’t want to do that, you could try putting some long dowel in the centre of the pomander as a kind of stem to keep it in the vase?

BtoB919: tutorial- same principle applies nomatter what you cover the ball with.
You don’t really have to glue the pomander on the vase. When you press it down firmly, it will make a groove that rests on the lip of the vase.

julies1949: thank you. I am going to practice this next week. Thank you!! Should I press down firmly pre or post flowers?

BtoB919: It would probably be easier to press down before inserting the flowers. That way they won’t get crushed.
