Looks great! Lotsa questions for you: Are they tissue paper? How big is each pomander? (It's kinda hard to tell in the picture). Do you have a styrofoam ball inside each pomander? (If so, what size ball did you use?)
@aunt pol: Thanks...this wedding has certainly been a labor of love. I only have one baby sister and I want her day to be as special as I can make it.
@MaggieGirl: These are actually fake mini-carnations (from Dollar Tree). There is a 2.5 inch styrofoam ball in the center that the carnations are hot glued to. Each pomander is about 5 inches when all of the flowers are glued on.
@mrsv2be: and @miss_qween_bee: thanks!!
Umm...AWESOME! You should submit this to the DIY section!! I bet a lot of people would benefit from a tutorial!
These are great! I second the idea of submitting a DIY tutorial!
@quiche: and @rabbit: Thanks...I will work on a tutorial and get it posted in the DIY section.

I had an idea!! I have been doing most of the planning for my sister's wedding on September 18th and I wrestled with what to do for a backdrop for her ceremony. She is renting a hall that will be used for both the ceremony and reception. The room is divided by a black curtain which fits her colors of black, white, damask (black & white), and yellow.I used black ribbon so that it will kind of fade into the background and allow the yellow and white to pop more.
Since her reception flowers are yellow carnation pomanders I decided to bring that into the wedding ceremony as well in the form of a backdrop. I think 2 more and then I will be done. Depending on how I feel later on I might be done now...LOL.
