Personally, the green ones aren't my favorite. However, I am using flower pomanders and I love them!!!
My colours are soft pinks, yellows and ivory and I had found one already made that was a good price and that had incorporated all of those colours. I think it could look nice together, but I've definitely seen ones I don't like too!
We used pomanders for my sister's wedding and I think they turned out really nicely. I think once you make one and show your mom, she will come around.
I will say that my FI isn't a pomander fan and has decreed that our wedding will be a pomander free zone. Which really makes me want to have a flower girl JUST so I can make her a cute pomander to carry down the aisle =)
We are using poms for our wedding to line the aisle, but not hang from the chairs. I made ours. You can see them here and here. I think using poms is a great idea. You can use them for the ceremony and then repurpose them for the reception.
I don't understand them. Where do you put them, on chairs? They're pretty yea, but I just have never actually seen them at a wedding before.
We used them all over our wedding, so yes, I think they look nice at weddings. :)

@ddubzz: Thanks for sharing your photos! They look amazing! :) I'm going to show them to my mom and hopefully she will get what I'm talking about now lol.
Thanks everyone else for your opinions too!! :)

I'm trying to find an easy and relatively cheap way to decorate our garden ceremony. In the event that it rains though, I need something that can easily be brought inside, so I thought hanging the pomanders on the chairs would be a simple solution.
Problem is, my mom thinks they are hideous lol. So I figured I would get some other opinions from the hive.
How do you feel about pomanders being used for wedding decor?
