My husband’s birthday is next week and every year we rent a pontoon boat for his birthday on the Sunday before Memorial Day. We have 8 people going out on the boat including us. This year we’re married and since the rental will start at noon we are providing lunch for everyone. Drinks are easy because we will have a cooler full of beer and soda and water. However, food is a bit tricky because I want it to be easy to eat with your hands (so there won’t be any trash accidentally blowing into the river) but I also want to prepare myself to save money.
I was thinking aout making pulled BBQ pork or chicken sandwiches with chips and cookies along with a fruit and veggie tray. Should we be providing more than that for 8 people for a 4 hour boat ride? Another caveat is that one of our guests is pregnant so I’m worried that she won’t want to eat the pork which is why I was thinking of doing the chicken. Thank you!!!!
