Aw, that sucks. Way to be assertive though. I was so afraid of the “B words” that I was very timid. ANYWAY, my best advice is stick to your guns, and if they aren’t married, they will get it once they are. I had one who was a pain in the butt about $10 gold shoes. She thought it was too expensive for something she’d never wear again, but she was all willing to spend $100+ on cowboy boots which she would NOT ever wear again. LOL, oh well, good luck!

@Pia2010: i think the op is being perfectly reasonable… she gave her bms parameters… very broad parameters… they could choose any black dress in the world and they want the same one? i think they need to come to a compromise and pick 3 different dresses as the op requested.

and lets please refrain from calling one another names.

If having a vision of what YOU want for YOUR wedding makes you a “bridezilla” then I’m a way bigger one than you.  Not only do i want different bridesmaids dress, I want different colors as well and not all the companies make the colors I want.  Haha.  But so far my bridesmaids (my sisters and best friend) have been very patient and are not complaining… too much.

Blow it off.  You are definitely not a bridezilla because you know what you want.

FWIW I told my BMs to get whatever dress in X color they wanted (I didn’t care if they wore the same or different or some were the same or whatever) and they ended up 4 in the same dress, 2 in different dresses. It looked fine and guests commented on how pretty “the dress I picked” was – nobody even noticed that any of the dresses were different!

@stephanie63087:  Please refrain from attempting to tell me how to post. As you will see below, she thanked me for my honesty.

@astrangeharris:  That is kind of them.

@Pia2010: per weddingbee’s policy – “While you can certainly disagree with a blogger or another commenter’s ideas, we ask that you refrain from leaving comments that include personal attacks, snarkiness…..”

a personal attack is calling someone a name (i.e. bridezilla). and i do see she thanked you, and thats all fine and well. theres no need to be rude to me. i was not “telling you how to post”, rather giving a good piece of advice… if you dont want to take it as that then thats all on you.
