It really probably will smell like popcorn all night. I think it would be a ton of fun, though, and at least popcorn smells good!

I personally don’t like popcorn a whole lot, but I know SO many people that would LOVE it. So I voted yes.

Plus, popcorn and certain candies (SPK), go really well together!!

It depends what type of wedding you are having. I would not even think of popcorn at a formal affair. But if more casual, then it is OK.

I don’t care if your wedding is black tie formal… I would still be eating popcorn all night long! 🙂

Love the idea ! but remember that people will drink more (if this is a concern of yours) if you serve popcorn . It is a long time bar tactic 🙂

I really love popcorn!  If I was a guest at a wedding that had a popcorn machine, I’d be pretty excited!

The first thing that came to mind was for a late night snack. Could you wait to pull it out until the end?

I think I’d just be concerned that it’d be really messy.

I love popcorn too but the smell reminds me of carnivals and street fairs, which is not a bad thing! Lol But for a wedding reception, I think it might overwhelm. What about having a selection already-made gourmet popcorns (i saw a bourbon, caramel, pecan popcorn with bacon in a magazine recently). Super Yum! It could be already set out in cones or cups. That way you get the popcorn without the machine and the strong smell.
