We’re are doing a DIY popcorn bar as a late night snack.
We’ll have someone run an airpopper in the kitchen and bring out a huge bowl of it, and leave a scoop and treat bags. I want a good assortment of non-messy(ish) toppings for the popcorn. As in, i’m not sure how to make buttered popcorn an option…
What sorts of topping would you like to see on a popcorn bar?
Any suggestions or thoughts for the idea as a whole?

It would be a lot easier for people to be able to put olive oil on it instead of butter, and it will make the toppings stick. It also won’t solidify at room temperature and tastes just as good!
My favorites are parmesan cheese and cayenne pepper or chilli powder

I’m also thinking about doing a popcorn bar. I think we’re going to our popcorn pre-flavored. We’re doing caramel corn, cheese corn, plain and chocolate.

Salt and vinegar, white chocolate and raspberry, butterscotch.

My aboslute favorite mixer for popcorn is Jr. Mints! But really anything chocolate (M&Ms or chocolate chips) would be awesome.

Just butter and salt! Doing anything else to popcorn is unnatural haha.

M&M’s for sure! FI and I also really love the Chocolate Cookie Dough Bites you can get at the movies – we found them at Publix for only 89 cents I believe a box….gosh those things are the devil.

You can buy movie-theater-style butter in a bottle at the grocery store, as well as flavored salts. The butter tastes pretty darn good, and guests can add as much or as little to them as they want. So put out normal, unsalted, unbuttered popcorn.

As long as there was salt and butter, I’d be good to go!
