i would use a 110 lb paper or heavier. i haven't used these but i have used the 110lb on rose petals and they lasted really well. i would think that the heavier the paper the better because popcorn can be slightly greasy.
I love them!!
Yay! Glad you found that and posted this! I also started a thread about these today, but haven't gotten much of a response.
@crebre - what did you use to hold them together? Glue? Double sided tape?
i think you could use transparency paper, i don't think the toppings will leak and it'll not get greasy! i think it's what was used here:
@layla: i haven't seen your post yet?! if you have any more questions i "may" be able to help...
gasp!!!
I'm in LOOOOOVE with the transparency paper!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!! Must. Have. That.
thanks, crebre!!! I posted it early this morning, probably need to bump it. Was just wondering how they turned out for people that used them, what people set them in, and what they used to secure them.
Glue dots DO freakin' rock!!
Do you think the tranparency paper would be sturdy enough if they aren't in the glasses though? :/
And is the ink design on them okay by food? Obviously it would be on the outside part...but it worries me it would smudge!

So I finally found a template to create our popcorn cones for the cocktail hour. Has anyone used this before? I wasn't sure what type of paper I would need to use so they are durable and the butter and popcorn toppings don't leak through. Thanks!
