Hello all! I just got engaged on December 28 (my dad’s birthday, he was mortified to see his youngest betrothed) to my wonderful Fiance who I’ve been with for 3 years now. The ring is actually FI’s great-aunt’s ring from the turn of the century. It’s an old miner’s cut (1.45 carats) with a platinum setting and I am SO FREAKING EXCITED. So here is my precious (envision a Gollum voice if you will). Please excuse my fat size 8 fingers and complete lack of nail polish. I’ll be manicuring it up tomorrow.

Oh hey responses! Thank you lovely ladies so much! You’ve only increased my obsession, much to FI’s chagrin (Me-“I accidentally blinded myself with sparkle when I wiped my eye!” FI-*groan*).
