I'll be flying Porter in exactly one week to Toronto, Ontario. I'm really excited and it'll be a first to fly this airline. Has anyone else flown Porter? I know their main flights are within Canada but they do have some flights from Boston & New York (besides Chicago which is where I'm flying from).

I can't wait to check out the wedding stores in and around Toronto and pick up a few items that are not available here.

I haven't flown Porter, but my fiance has and he loved it. He received free espresso and snacks in the lounge. There is also free wireless internet everywhere in the lounge. He told me that the seats on the plane are very comfortable and there is lots of leg room.

The Toronto City Centre Airport (where you will be landing) is great! And the ferry is so much fun! It is the world's shortest ferry ride. :)

    Awesome! I can't wait.

Are there any Toronto brides or brides-to-be that can recommend any wedding shops/boutiques in Toronto?

I've actually done all of my wedding shopping outside of Toronto, so I won't be any help with that one!

I didn't even know there was a Porter Airlines! Porter is a family name, but I doubt there is any relation.

Lol, it's not that well known here either. They use bombardier jets with a maximum passenger capacity of 70. They have some nice fares although they do fluctuate and get pretty high sometimes.
