What does it look like?  Is the test line darker than the control?

That's what I can't tell! I think they look about the same, but I'm not really sure. It's definitely darkr than my others have been. Ishould take daily pictures....

@anotherbee:  if you think it might be darker, than trust your instincts

Well I guess at a minimun you are getting closer!  But you will be able to take another test tomorrow before you are 'due' to have sex, if this one is positive.  You know what I mean?  So, test tomorrow and compare.

Do OPKs get lighter if they sit out for a long time. I went out after I posted, and looking at it now, 2 hours later, it's definitely lighter...

@anotherbee:  They normally stay the same after a few hours.  I think I still have some of mine with some old pregnancy tests, I kept them for comparison and the color never really changed much.

bah, I don't know what to think. I took a pic of the orignial, went out, and looked at the stick about 3 hours later, and the test line was definately lighter. But when I look at the pic, they look the same. I took one this morning with FMU and it was definately neg.

@MarryMeTiffany:  The ClearBlue's are great!!  I got a positive this week on Wednesday and a negative on Thursday.  Definitely easier to interpret...this Smile or a faceless circle.

Thanks ladies. fortunately, right now, it doesn't matter all that much, since I'm only using opks to prove to my doc that i'm not ovulating. (she thinks that BBT isn't a good indicator of o...ugh). Anyways, I was pretty shocked when yesterday's turned up dark! We'll see what the one after work looks like.

@anotherbee:  I have a picture saved of one of my positives. Would seeing it help?

@Running Elley:  It might. I'd like to look at it. I found an image of about 5 side by side that 3 are neg and 2 are pos to show the progression of them getting darker. I out mine on the screen of my ipda next to the first pos, and that's what made me this that it was. I'd be happy to check yours out. :)

I again wonder, I know that the egg releases progesterone and that spikes the temp, but I'm wondering, if in some weird, small, rarity, the temp doesn't rise with o? Cause it if this is pos, then I got my LH surge, but my EWCM was a few days ago, and my temps have been in the pits (between 96.7-97.2) since Dec 28 (I'm on CD 31 now)

Here's my positive :) Usually the LH surge happens 12-36 hours before O so most people will O within the next day or 2 after a positive opk. Then the temp doesn't spike until either 1 or 2 days after O. So your spike may still be coming!

@anotherbee: I know your doc doesn't believe the temp charts (so weird), but the temp rise is confirming the O. You can have an LH surge (pos. OPK) and not ovulate. This has happened to me a couple times (confirmed with blood work 7 days after my LH surge -- the progesterone was too low for ovulation to have occurred). If your temps stay low after a pos. OPK, that's what's going on. It could just be taking a few days to rise. Sometimes that happens too. In fact, my IRL friend who got pregnant in Dec. had a slow rise.

Thanks ladies. I guess I'll keep waiting. I just POAS to see what today brings... Turns out my doc sent the referral to the obgyn, but my aunt is his nurse and she let me know that it hasn't come through yet.

Maybe I'll get lucky and get a temp rise this cycle, though I doubt it, since I haven't in the past....it's a 3-6 month wait to see the obgyn anyways, so I've got some time to kill...

EDIT: today's is an outstanding neg....I can barely see the test line...
