I would like to report to my fellow bees that I took a daring chance a couple of weeks ago by ordering a dress I wanted from an online designer in China. After a week of emailing various “knock of” shops overseas, and getting replies back in varying states of completeness, I settled on one that appeared to answer my questions most directly and honestly.
I was scared, and it felt like I was gambling away $333 on a game I couldn’t possibly win. Well I got the dress two days ago and….it is wonderful. I only took the chance because every actual Maggie dress seller said it would take four months or more to get the dress. This place “recreated” it for me in less than two weeks. It is important to note that my dress was very very simple, and tea length, so I cannot speak for those who want fancy many tiered ballgowns. Also, I never got to try on the real Maggie dress so I can’t compare the fabrics. But the fabric on my dress feels nice and looks pretty, so I am happy enough to call it mine.
I know I might catch some flack, but for those budget conscious brides looking for the perfect dress, I wanted to provide a positive review of an online designer. The website is inweddingdress.com.
