I’m new to using OPKs. Is this dark enough to be positive? Both strips are from today at 3pm, first photo with flash, second is without flash.
these were taken five minutes after dipping. Since then, both the test and control lines have lightened quite a bit. Does that mean anything?
thanks in advance for your insight!

That looks positive to me! Especially the top one, the test line there looks like it might be slightly darker than the control. I wouldn’t worry about it lightening up later – it’s what it looks like within the test window that matters.

Yes. They may get darker, some women eventually get the test line darker than the control but otherts don’t, so that is positive- I’d get to it!

@IAmTheShadow: I think that’s positive. It kind of looks like mine from a few days ago (I started a thread with the same question) and the next day the test line was way darker than the control, and I got smiley faces on a digital. But I do understand that not everyone’s gets that dark, so I would count that as a positive. Are you having EWCM? That was my clue that my test might turn up positive.

That’s more or less what mine look like. Honestly, mine probably don’t even get that dark when both lines are even. Good luck!

@PatientBee: Yup, had some EWCM this morning, too. The only thing that’s odd to me is that my CP doesn’t seem to be what it should. But otherwise, all signs point to O, so I’m going to treat it as if that’s what’s happening!

@IAmTheShadow: CP can be really hard to determine. I wasn’t sure mine was right until I checked it after ovulation and it felt really different. It was kind of a gradual transition to high and soft so that I didn’t notice, and then over night it dropped and was hard again. TMI I know, but I guess that’s what this forum is for?
