Just wanted to thank everyone for their feedback…postive and negative…and wanted to let you all know that I have decided to ask her to be a bridesmaid. I did express our (my fiance and I’s) concern of all of her tattoos, and told her that for the ceremony we wanted them covered, either thru airbrush (that I will be paying for in full) or we even talked about putting her a very chic suit, which she would be perfectly fine with.

Sounds like you handled it in all the best ways! Good for you for walking a fine line and ending up with the best of both worlds!

Good decision. I saw on the last post about a wrap for her arms and maybe a floor length dress. I think that would be just fine for church or the service and then I’d let her let loose for the reception. Besides, it’s a party! Let her party!

Is airbrushing expensive? (forgive my ignorance… never really got into the whole ‘makeup scene’)
I was just thinking you could do a trial run to see how it looks in person, and maybe snap a few pics in various lighting to see how they come out/if they’re photo-shop-able. You know, before you set yourself on one way or the other. 🙂
Good job on compromising — I’m so glad your friend will be able to be a part of your day!!!!
