I don't live there but love to visit Asheville! It's such a cute town with tons of beautiful mountains and outdoor activities. I do think it may be challenging to find a job there, but I guess it depends on what you do. I'm no expert.
Hey there, congrats on getting married and possibly moving to Asheville, its a great place! To be honest with you the job market in ALL of North Carolina is tough but it is steadily picking back up. Asheville is known for it's art community and tourism because of the Biltmore Estate. Im not sure what kind of job you are looking for but Im sure there are a lot of opportunities to be found with a little digging. Maybe working in an art gallery, or being a tour guide at the Biltmore. I know there are a lot of banks and cooperate buildings downtown as well if you want an office job. Either way it is a great place to live and the mountain in the fall are gorgeous on the Blue Ridge Parkway!!!

Hi ladies, I'm an Ohio bride, but my FI found out last week that his company may have an opportunity for him in Asheville. I've always thought it would be a great place to live, but now that it may become reality, I'm a little concerned about the job market. It seems that everywhere I look, people are complaining about how tough it is to find a job there. Have any of you had any troubles?
I'd really like to be excited about the move, but I'm afraid I won't be able to find anything!
