You are never bothering a doctor when you put in a call to them to ask a question! That’s what they are there for. I would call today! He/she can answer your question for you. Good luck!

Was it brown?  Did you have intercourse recently?  Brown blood is old blood, which is usually nothing to worry about.  I’ve gotten brown spotting a couple times recently after sex. 

But yes, Jenn is right, call your doc!  Even though I knew it was probably nothing, I called mine.  It made me feel better to have them tell me not to worry.

Same thing happened to me yesterday and my doc had me come in, turns out i was fine but the the doc said always call them any time that you have any spotting. I had an ultrasound to check that the baby was OK and also check my cervix.
