I went shoe shopping on my lunch hour today, not really intending to buy anything, more to see what was out there. I have had in my head an image of a purple wedge, but research online and in stores have led me to believe that there aren’t too many of what I want out there for some reason.
I found these shoes and thought they were pretty, a shimmery purple colour called ‘Sugarplum’, and thought the sheen brought a weddingy feel to them, even though they aren’t your typical wedding shoe.
So, what do you all think about them! Honest opinions, please! 😀

@Baroness_Meg: Heels are always better than wedges IMO 😉

@mchitt329: I like heels, but I am a curvier girl, and tend to find wedges a bit more comfy, but these are only a 3 inch or so heel, and pretty comfy (you definitely get what you pay for!), so I decided to give these a shot!!! I am not 100% sold on them, but I have 14 days to return after testing them around the house 🙂

@Baroness_Meg: I agree that wedges are slightly more comfortable than heels usually. Do you have a picture of your dress? That would really help on if the shoes would work well or not.
Just looking at the shoes themselves, I don’t know that I really like them (sorry!). But if you love them, that’s all that really matters! If you really do want purple wedges, have you considered finding dyable shoes in the style you like then dying them your shade of purple? There’s usually a bunch of different styles at Zappos – look for brands like Coloriffics or Dyeables! Dyeables has a cute wedge called Etta – sorry I’d post a link but I’m on my phone lol.
Good luck! I’m sure you’ll find the perfect shoe!

Beautiful shoes! But you should also check out “Milk and Honey” or “Shoes of Prey”.You can design your own shoes and they definitely have wedge shoes in purple! I also need wedge shoes for my outdoor wedding and I’m pretty sure I’m going with these (but in a 1or 2 wedge heel):
They definitely have purple in a bunch of different fabrics including glitter and satin.

I am a wedge girl… Heels are so not comfortable at the heights I like.. But these are not so tall.
Im going to be honest here. Only cause you asked. If you are super sure, keep them. If not… Then I’ll chime in with my insignificant rasp of an “I don’t really like them”
it doesn’t really matter what I think… But I love the idea of purple wedges.

Would I buy them? No… But, if they go with your wedding look/style, go for it 🙂

This is my dress! It’s got a kind of Grecian feel to it. It still needs to be taken in in this picture so don’t mind the excess.
The longer I have them in my possession, the more I do love them! LOL.

Thanks everyone! I think I will sleep on it.
Wedding doesn’t really have much of a specific theme, it’s more colour scheme which is purple, green and white/cream. I have always envisioned a kind of funky shoe, not a traditional wedding shoe, and I think these fit the bill! Just a matter of deciding if I should just keep trying to find what I had originally envisioned in the wedges!
