Could you just knot it and put some kind of broach on it instead of the bow? Then it would still accentuate your small waist.

 Like This?

First, that dress is absolutely stunning on you!!  Bow girl or not you it looks beautiful on you.  Second, one my good friends had a similar sash on her dresh and she did exactly what the other two ladies suggested, she knotted it and added a brooch.  Talk to the consultants at the shop, they may have other suggestions – maybe a ruffly flower?

It looks gorgeous on you and is a very beautiful gown.  I think the bow is fine, but I do like the broach idea also:)  Maybe that could be your something old if someone in your family has an old fashioned beautifull broach:)

It is absolutely beautiful!  You look phenomenal in it, and I kind of like the bow.  My dress has a flower on the hip and when I first saw it I thought it was really distracting and planned on taking it off.  When I put the dress on, however, I loved it.  So, I guess my question is do you not like the way the bow looks when you’re wearing the dress, or are you just having a hard time deciding whether you’re a bow-kind-of-girl?  (I’m still not a flower girl.)

If you decide to nix the bow, I love the broach idea.  Let us know what you decide!

It is beautiful! And I love the broach idea too! (I’m not a bow person either)

That’s a beatiful dress! While I am a bow girl, I think a broach would look great as well.

I love the broach idea too and maybe a more mocha or taupe colored sash would be beautiful.  Is that a maggie dress?  It looks a lot like my maggie dress but my has some more beading on it.

Love it!  I wish I had the figure to pull off that type of dress.  🙂

I’m so glad you figured out how to post.  That dress is totally beautiful!  It fits you perfectly… and like some of the others, I’m a big fan of a brooch 🙂
