Ebay! I found mine, showed it to my fi and told him it was what I wanted. She originally want $1,400, but we asked her to come down to $1,200 including shipping, and surprisingly she agreed, I knew her asking price was great to begin with. We immediately took it in for appraisal and it was appraised for $3,800.

@bunnyharriet:  I’ve posted on several pawn shop threads, but I can always do one more!

Around $100 for the e-ring with a teeny tiny diamond on it.  We switched it out for a 1/2c Moissy.

@bunnyharriet:  All I know about the filigree ring is that it’s not as old as the others – it was probably made after the 1950s. The one with the garnets is from the mid to late 1800s, and the rose gold emerald one is from around the turn of the century. 🙂

@bunnyharriet:  Yep, that’s me!  I do not regret getting my original ring from a pawn shop at all!  I am so frugal and I love getting a deal.  I’m sure you’ve seen my new ring if you’ve been on this board at all lately 🙂

We found my e-ring on craigslist which was originally posted as $4500..me and the owner got along so well that she dropped the price to $3700. The ring originally cost over $9k. Cant wait to see what it’s appraised for! We have NO regrets!
