I have a high quailty vanity were the mirror is a jewelry box and I use the drawers for make up.  Even the bench is a storage area where I keep hair supplies.

My uncle made us a lovely wooden box that our ring-bearer carried during our wedding ceremony that we now use as a jewelry box.

@Arshim:  It’s not fancy with multiple compartments, but it does the trick and the fact that it was made with love obviously means a lot to us!

I have too much jewelry (mostly costume) for a nice box to be particularly useful. Most of my stuff is in a Caboodle makeup case type thing…and (here’s the shameful part) my “good” jewelry box got broken in a move, so now all of my nice jewelry is in a plastic wet wipe container. Awful, I know.

I have a small wooden box that I keep some jewelry in (like most of my stuff that I wear most often). It has a lid and then one drawer. I also have a miniature set of plastic drawers with other little boxes of jewelry. It’s not organized very well, but I know where everything is!

High quality,Danish modern large teak jewelry box, made in Denmark in the late 50s or early 60s. It’s lined with red felt. If seeing the inside is important I can take an interior shot.

I got sick of the clutter created by small boxes. One good one works much better for me and the style perfectly matches my decor.

I purchased this antique jewelry box off etsy last year. I wish It was a bit larger but it has great character.

I have a lot of boxes. 2 big ugly but useful ones with compartments, one other big one that’s just kind of a dumping ground box (mostly broken jewelry that I’m totally going to get fixed one day gets dumped in there), a mid-size box that’s all small earrings, and then a bunch of little boxes with only a few things in them each. And then I have my jewelry tree. It’s kind of a holy mess.

I used to just have them in random boxes that they came in tossed in a draw.  But then they all got stolen and all I have now is my everyday jewlery that never comes off.

@Arshim:  does it make me a complete neurotic that I don’t have a jewelry box bc I always think it would be easier for someone to steal all my jewelry if we where ever robbed?? *crickets chirping* ok I guess I’m neurotic.  Lol I have my jewelry scattered in different places here and there.
