I am wrestling with how to decorate my tables, which linens to use, color combinations, etc. Please post pictures of your table decor for your wedding or a mock up of your table decor!!! I hope to be inspired…

@futuremrskelsey: Hi, I’m one of those people that absolutely cannot stand huge centerpieces? Why ? It’s so damn annoying when you’re trying to talk to people across the table and can’t see their face!!! Ugh! ANyway, our colors were pink and orange, we went with a two tone crushed irridescent linens. lots and lots of candles.

I went with vibrant oranges, reds, and rust colors. Here are pics from my wedding. Also, we gave a very deep rose, which was tucked into each napkin as our gift rather than little boxes of candy or something that no one would ever use again. Everyone put the roses in their lapels and really enjoyed that.

Here is a picture of the roses tucked into each napkin. I couldn’t figure out how to get it to appear above.

That’s a great idea, the roses. But knowing my guests, they would be like “Huh?” Humph!!

Since the reception is going to be more of a party with a “sit where you want” layout, we’ll be using the little salsa bowls (the kind you can get from the dollar tree) filled with chocolate M&M’s jelly beans (jelly belly and the kind you get at easter), and a few other candies as our centerpieces.
We’re also going to have pretzels available and probably mixed nuts too (all from costco for CHEAP!). We’re also have a buffet-style meal with finger foods and dips and things like that. (believe me, you can eat a meal from the stuff that’ll be made! my Fiance does it frequently for our game nights and his b-day parties!)
There will be a very special centerpiece for where we’ll be sitting and we’ll have a few other decorations made to resemble a gothic cathedral/church and probably a tavern made from cardboard boxes and really nifty textured spray paint. (I’ve already got the church/cathedral cut and taped together, ready for the paint!!!)

In the 1st pic- we are using the sheer buttercream as the floor length tablecloth and then the blue and buttercream (diamond pattern) will be the table toppers and come 1/4 the way down the side of the table. We are using these centerpieces and these colors for our flowers.
The 2nd pic- the stripped pattern tablecloths will be on the cocktail tables near the bar.

Our colors were navy and fuschia. We kept the table decor simple because our reception venu was so pretty on its own.

My linens will be white with white napkins. I didn’t want anything fancy. I am really excited about my peach centerpices. We will have paper lunch sacks and sign on each table asking people to take peaches home with them 🙂

Oh, all of your decorations are so lovely!
Rgeddy – is that sage green? I think we have the same colors! Love them!
