I have an itch to make risotto tonight. Does anyone have any good recipes for some type of Italian style chicken that can be baked in the oven? Risotto is so much work (you have to stir and stir...) I don't want the chicken to be difficult too.

@HisBarista- I looked earlier on Food Network but didn't see any rcipes that were for the oven. I'll check it out again.
@Arizona-I've never made risotto. Mmmm sounds good though!
Just found out my husbands on his way home! Doesn't have to work late like he thought-he has a big audit at work tomorrow but he said if things aren't good by now, they're not going to be. But I'll still try to post on and off.

A post-a-thon is a time when when as many bees as possible get on WB at the same time. We always have a chat thread and we also try to ask/answer as many other posts as possible.
It's pretty much like a huge PARTY! lol.

I just checked my mail and there was an envelope addressed to "Mr. and Mrs. hislastname"
I figured it had to be some distant relative sending us something that didn't know any better. But no, it's a thank you card from my friend's wedding this summer. A very good friend - who also wrote on the inside of the card "I can't wait for your big day!"
LMAO!! It's def. her writing in both places, so I know it was her. LOL Do writing thank you notes drive you that crazy?
2Honeybun-My FSIL did that when she sent us a thank you note and again when she sent us some wedding prints. I think it was just to save space. I consider it more of being accepted into the family, rather than get upset.
LOL hisbarista - def. didn't upset me, I just thought it was funny! Like maybe she was just having a moment LOL.
I'm looking on ebay right now for my ugly Christmas sweater for our party - there is one that would be perfect - i mean it is UGLY. But it's like 20 bucks, and that's more than I wanted to spend for an ugly sweater! LOL
@honeybun - This Ugly Christmas Sweater Party is going to be great. I've never done anything like that. One of my friends through a "Wig-O-Rama" party once. Everyone had to wear a wig. It was a blast going shopping to try them on!

@honeybun-is she blonde? Or is she just ditzy? I'm not blonde, but I'm almost always having some sort of moment. lol.

@arizona: a wig part!!!!!!!!!!! OMG, that is an awesome idea!!! I want to wear a wig for Halloween every year SOOO bad, but never end up doing it. That would totally give me an excuse! haha

@ honeybun FI's cousin sent us a thank you once that was addressed to "The Future Mr. & Mrs. HisLastName" - I thought it was hysterical. And yes, I'd rather clean the bathroom than write thankyous.
I'm so jealous of all you & your Ugly Sweater Parties. I think they'll be so fun. The only one I know of FI's little sister goes to every year - it's for a bunch of college kids I don't think they'd be thrilled with 2 30yr olds rolling in. LOL

I'm getting my photo shoot area ready, it's going to be hilarious. I'm also thinking about getting a yule log DVD to have on during the night lolol but without the music playing, I'll have my itunes going
You guys should totally have parties too!!! This is the first one we've ever had - actually it's our first party ever!! We always go to friends' houses and never think to have people over to ours!
and just for fun, if anyone is bored, go to ebay and search ugly christmas sweaters...I can't even believe some of these were ever made, much less worn in public!!!
@mimosa- No, I'm not throwing one. Just commenting on honeybun's. I have no time or energy to throw any parties this holiday. We are moving! I'm trying to motivate to start packing and it hasn't happened yet. I think we'll start this weekend.
I'd love to throw one but most weekends are booked through mid-january already (insaaaaane) and our apt isn't big enough for more than 6 people.
ooohhhh I thought you were doing one too! I know a couple of us are. I was going to get excited for you lol Happy Moving! I HATE moving ughz.. getting motivated is the hardest thing. When we moved someone told me to just do 1 or 2 boxes a night. I did that and it worked for me.
I'm here! I'll be in and out tonight - first night this week that I actually get to hang out with FI, so we're going to be soaking up the alone time!
