I'm sick 
I have a WICKED head cold so I have been working from home last 2 days.
What's up with all of you?
Edited to add: HA! I almost posted 2009 on the thread title but caught myself at the last second!
I am not feeling well either, I may be going dress shopping tomorrow to try on a trumpet (at my mom's urging)... but we're having inclement weather so perhaps not. I am also working on a few products for a client which is quite tedious.
Is this the "official" post a thon tread? I'm so confused!
I'm always writing 09 instead of 10! It looks so weird! I'll probably make that mistake til March haha. Hope you're feeling better soon.... I feel like I've been "under the weather" for 3 months, it's the winter for me :(
I just finished filling out my passport application... *whew* I'm kind of excited to get a passport, even though I'm dreading what that picture is going to look like lol.

I just got home from school... took me an hour and a half to drive home, even though I was supposed to have beat rush hour! I think there was an accident on the freeway. Blah.
BUT I'M HOME! And no school tomorrow! Wooooohooooo!!!
@Blueshoes2: On my passport photo, for some reason it didn't occur to me to wear any makeup or fix my hair (this was in one of my short, awful hair phases)... I look like a little boy. A really, really ugly little boy.
i'm doing pretty good. just trying to get myself to settle down and work on my resume. you'd think wanting to get a job would be motivation enough but...it's not. haha.
lol, I ran late too with starting this thread. Lots going on today and I'm running a little slow myself....aaaah!
@ Lorienne - I am with you on being sick - I have the "common cold" but it feels more like the "uncommon plague of death and misery" ... I am on day 6 now.
I'm currently in illness recovery... caught the plague while in Minnesota, but almost back to 100%! Feel better Lori!!!!!
Been eating rice porridge and boxed mac n cheese for an entire week... hoping to have a decent meal tonight but Mr. Peng is just catching the SARS or whatever the hell I had last week so now he's not hungry! GRR!
Hmm what to eat... Little Caesars just opened down the street for me. Can't hate on a $5 pizza. YOU JUST CAN'T.
Hey ladies! I'm bumming around all day, just hanging out. School starts on Monday so I'm milking every free second I get.
Ew, I just got over being sick. Still not sure if it was a cold, or just realy bad allergies!
I have been starting on the signs we will need for the wedding, our of boredom more than anything ... any other ladies working on wedding stuff today/tonight?
lol awww spaniel, it's ok. In my work ID pic I'm grimacing. Really. Don't even get me started on my gym photo ID... I've accepted that all "ID" pictures of me are going to look awful, I'm just too awkward in them.
I haven't been to little caesars since I was little! Pizza Pizza! I wish they had them around here...

HA, Pengy, I'm with you on the sick of eating sick food...I've been eating nothing but hot pockets for 2 days...and now my cupboards are bare, so I am going to place an order from the pita place across the street. I just nearly sobbed happy tears to read the words "FREE DELIVERY" on their menu -- I don't have to venture out!! Thank goodness!
All I want to do is suck down some NyQuil and conk out!
MAJOR Hive hugs to all my fellow sickies -- no hugs for the healthies b/c I don't want to infect ya'll so I'll just blow you all a kiss!

I miss Little Caesars... I ate it all through high school. ;) That and Carls Jr. (Thank god I moved out and started learning to cook!)
@Blueshoes2 - no worries on writing '09 until March...my landlord called me today to say that I wrote 12/31/08 on my rent check and the bank couldn't deposit it....how the heck did I put 08?!?! Where did that come from?! hahahahaha

Mr. Buttons and I just finished dinner...made some delish Tuscan white bean soup and homemade biscuits! Now...a glass of red wine to sip on while chatting 
Hey girls. I'm back from a 2 week visit to my family's house in Florida. I didn't have internet access for most of the time there :( Oh well.
I'm back now and nervous because I start my new job on Monday. Ugghhghghg.
Does it count if you pretend to be under the weather. I work in retail so I worked extra hard on my school break so I took a personal day right before school starts back up. I'm naughty.

Hi all! Question - I haven't been on in a while and I saw that there is a Miss Pencils now - did she out herself or is she a secret? haha Just wondering because I know it seemed like everybody wanted to be Miss Pencils!
@ scissors - I am glad engagement parties aren't really done here. I am dreading my bridal showers because I am so not good with being the centre of attention (oddly being the centre of attention at the wedding isn't phasing me ... yet!) Good luck with yours!
I need to make all my sick-bees some ALBONDIGA soup. It has magical powers, everytime my FI gets sick I make him some and he gets better right away.
