Hey ladies! We just celebrated our one-year anniversary and it was amazing and perfect (a weekend away). But it brought back so many memories of the wedding, having all my friends and family in one place to celebrate. Coming home from the weekend away was so hard. I think I am having post-wedding depression a year later. Has this happened to anyone else?

Do you feel sad because it's all over now?  I sort of know how you feel.  I think that you should make sure to plan get togethers more often than just anniversaries so that you can see osme of those people more often.

I would imagine I'll feel the same after our one year anniversary...after a year you're no longer newlyweds...all the "firsts" have been accomplished...you've eaten that last of your wedding presents...your album is made and tucked away..

Oh, I'm getting sad just thinking about it!

But I'm sure you're not alone!  My sister just got engaged and I'm throwing myself into helping her.  The nice thing about weddings is that they're always happening.  You'll be able to put lots into helping other brides, throwing showers, etc.

I know exactly how you feel!!! We just celebrated our One Year Anniversary in November and, while it was wonderful, it was sad to see it come and go.   I think I really needed a project so I have decided to (finally) work on designing and ordering our wedding album.  It helped focus my thoughts and energy into something productive :)

Good Luck and know that, as with everything else, this too shall pass!
