Unfortunately I have no advice (still pregnant with my first baby) but I am commenting to bump this for you. Have you called your OB since you started bleeding?

I would call your doc. I had an easy recovery and know that i was lucky to bounce back so quickly so I may not have the best advice. But I still think that bleeding that long after surgery may be cause for concern. Good luck!

I had two c-sections and both times I resumed my workout routines at 6 weeks pp (spinning classes and 30 day shred, to give you an idea of my intensity level). There was no bleeding.

Prior to 6 weeks, I would take walks, and even slow, short distances would make the bleeding worse so I stopped…

you are probably doing more than what your body can handle right now and it’s telling you to slow down, but I wouls still call my doctor to check out what’s going on…

oh, and first baby I bled for the whole 6 weeks pp, second baby, 5 weeks pp.

@julia924:  Maybe you could just try walking. I waited probably 3 months until I started actually “working out” but I was walking for a while before that!

I didn’t bleed at all post partum though I think I was an anomaly.
