I am not TTC for at least another year, but have been off the pill for quite some time now (we use condomns) so that I can track my cycle. (I do not chart, I just make notes about what I feel/experience during a cycle).
I get my period every 28 or 29 days. HOWEVER, some cycles I notice that post ovulation (I assume I ovulate as I have sharp one-sided pains around that time, every month) my boobs will hurt (the nipples) but some cycles like this one, they don’t have any pain. I guess I wonder why some cycles have different symptoms to others?
Also, even though I get (what I am pretty sure is) ovulation pain (because it occurs around day 12 – 14), sometimes I do not notice EWCM (i have noticed it before, but it’s not like i look for it every month, but this month I didn’t notice it). Anyone else the same?

I think every woman is different and so is every cycle. From personal experience sometimes I will feel ovulation pain other times not. Sometimes I will have breast tenderness and other times not. I never have EWCM atleast any that’s blatantly visible.

My EWCM isn’t consistent either. Last cycle I had it from O-5 then it dissapeared from O-3 until O when it came back. I’ve had O-spotting once but never pain. After O my breast tenderness is consistent throughout my luteal phase. My breasts hurt the WHOLE 2 weeks.

My EWCM is almost non-existent. Some cycles around O I actually have yeast-infection symptoms (fun!), and I regularly get headaches from the hormone changes. Most of my cycles, I get tender breasts after O. At first I was excited and thought it was a pregnancy symptom, but then I realized they happened too early (2DPO-6DPO or so) for that. Now I take sore boobs as a sign of O instead. I also very rarely have O pains.
