I ordered my Blue by Enzoani dress in Gold and it's really just a pretty champagne color. Here is the photo from the website and I believe this is the gold color. It's gorgeous in person!! Congrats on the deal!!
This is a gorgeouse colors dress. My dress is also a gold color. I just did not look good in white gowns. Glad you got a great deal!
Sorry! The second dress is my BM dress. It seems I have too many pictures of dresses saved!
You can see my (light gold) dress here, as well as many many other ivory dresses :)
Hi!
Where is this store you got such a great price??
Is there anything left :)
Thanks!
I got a custom made champagne dress but unfortunately it came out horrible. Way too short in length and I won't even go on about he rest because it depresses me so. I did learn an important lesson though, check the BBB report of the business BEFORE ordering. If I had, I would have discovered the business had a F rating and I would have never ordered from there!
Honestly your guests probably will not even notice. My dress is an ivory lace over light gold satin, and it looks closer to white/ivory until you hold it up to something that is a true white. As long as you are consistent (ie keep all your linens and such ivory/champagne) it will look fine.
I too went for a light gold coloured dress because I couldn't pull off the diamond white scheme. My question for you all, is do you think the light gold will look horrible against the white tux shirts that my FI will most likely be wearing? Will it be too much of a contrast?
I'm wearing a lace gown by POB in ivory. It was the last dress I picked out on a random trip at POB, when I first looked at it my first thought was that it wouldn't work for me, but still tried it on...and fell in love with it. It is SO light, I know I will wear it the whole night. It's got a classic, timeless, romantic, elegant look. I'm nervous it won't be here until August for my fittings...and the wedding is in September...but I think everything will work out.
I tried on a dress once in ivory lace with a champagne/light gold underlay, LOVED IT (looked so vintage), and took pictures in the store (which I don't have available currently)... and the pictures came out looking WHITE. :( I was disappointed, but you might be happy about that!
Doctorgirl - I LOVE YOUR DRESS!!!

Hi Ladies,
I just found my Enzoani dress at a local bridal store that is going out of business and was able to snag a $2500 gown for $500. I'm super excited but I'm a little nervous how people are going to react to the fact that the gown is more gold then it is white or ivory. I'm also worried about how it is going to look in pictures. I was hoping that maybe there were some other bees that have a champagne, antique ivory, beige dress that they could post picture of. Thanks ladies
