I am having an evening wedding on a golf course. As an alternative to lighting sparkler after the ceremony, I was thinking of having the guests each release a bio-degradable wish lantern into the sky. They look beautiful at night and I thought this would be a romantic way to seal the evening.
Also, what would be a good way to introduce this idea?

This sounds cool, but I can’t really picture this… do you have any photos of what this would look like?
I went to a wedding where a bunch of drunk dumbasses were burning people with sparklers as the couple left, so I would definitely rather do something else than sparklers if alcohol will be involved… lol.

Omg will it look like the lanterns in tangled? Because that’s like my new favorite movie ever. If so, I totally say yes lol!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. PLEASE DO THIS! 😀

Whist I love the concept, from what I’ve seen they can be difficult to safely release without somone/something getting burned. As long as you think you have that covered, go for it!

I say go for it! I’m surprising Mr Cappugcino with them at the end of our reception!

Wow, those are beautiful!

I’m not sure how many guests you have but I probably would think too much was going on if you had more than 100 guests doing this.
I love the idea though!!!
