MargaritaVille :  Aww sounds like awesome memories. I’m excited to have kiddos so they can grow up around horses. Between barn chores and learning to control a 1000 lb animal, there are many lessons to be learned!

Great post!

In the past, my positive has been that I can finish my thesis as a normal, functioning person. However, since that will be over by the end of this cycle:

– I’ll be able to celebrate my defense properly, i.e. drinking (however I still don’t drink much while TTC)

– since my thesis will be done, I can have hobbies without preparing for a baby and I can start some sort of exercise routine to get more in shape again

– we can update our house a bit more

– I might not have to hide a pregnancy when we visit family for a week in August

– Save a bit more money and we’re getting closer to paying off DH’s car

Great idea!

So… while with my pre-baby number 2 to-do list is empty as of now, here are my positives in case of a BFN on July 27th.

– I will be spending my TWW in Italy with DS at my inlaws. I’ll have to parade him around to every relative in sight, introduce him to the SEA! for the first time, and I’ll be super busy instead of nauseous.

– I won’t have to tell anyone (I am still breastfeeding, so I haven’t drunk any wine since… uh, my wedding, November 2014.)

– One more month of premium insurance under my belt, so it will cover not only delivery but also pre-natal vitamins (which are insanely expensive here in Switzerland.)

– If we get pregnant next cycle and everything goes at it should I could find out the sex in time for Christmas, when we fly back, and give everyone the news in person. (Yes, I am an obsessive planner.)

– I avoid the risk of going into labour on DH’s birthday (April 7th).

This is an excellent thread!

I’m cramping with a huge temp drop at 14dpo, so I’m out this cycle… not that we were trying for the first half of the cycle anyway, so we missed 95% of the window. Oh well!

I’m excited I’m NOT pregnant because:

– We have 2 drink nights with friends planned this week, and I was fully hoping to compare and contrast Dark and Stormys

– Summer programming at work does not lend itself to taking time off, or being sick, so it’s best to have morning sickness once September starts 😉

– Planning a move for the late fall, which means I’ll be more helpful the less pregnant I am

– More time in our after-late-fall-home before a baby is born, and therefore more time to save and get ready for baby

– If my next cycle is normal (this cycle was a hot mess), then I could potentially find out I’m pregnant around my mom’s birthday and that would be AWESOME

– Planning a trip to Hawaii with my family in December 2018/ January 2019 so the younger the baby, the less mobile it will be
