@roweboat:  Aww. 🙁  I don’t think I’ve discovered a cure for post vacation blues yet, other than…playing hooky from work? Haha!  Sorry to hear you’re feeling blue!

I know the feeling!  We had been planning our cottage getaway for almost 2 years!  We booked it in November, and I just got home this past weeknd.  We spent 8 days there, but I had gotten the week before that off work too, so I had 2 weeks off. The vacation itself was incredible, and to top it off, I came home engaged!  It’s been almost a week now, I keep expecting to wake up to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore in our king suite though.

What’s helped me the most is looking through photos, and trying to keep occupied, whether that be unpacking, cleaning, or working.

Which cruise did you go on? I love cruising!

For us, the only way to break the blues is to start planning our next vacation!

@roweboat:  My initial thought is to book another holiday! But it doesn’t sound like you can do that :/

Travel has taken a back seat during our (very long) engagement. I plan to increase its priority after our HM!

I’m a little cheeky, but i always book my holidays before my requesting leave!
