There was a post a few weeks ago about this but I'm dying for some hard core data, so here's a poll!

Are you planning on doing the deed? I always said I was going to but now I'm having second thoughts. D'oh.

I am counting down the days until the "chop".  If I could find a way to have it done post day-after shot and pre-honeymoon flight I would.  Post wedding chop: Did you? Will You? : wedding Icon Wink

My FI would kill me if I chopped my hair off!  He really really loves it!  Of course, he'd love me no matter what, but he loves my long hair.

Must have missed the previous post. Glad to know I'm not the only one who can't wait to cut some major length off! I won't go *short*, the FH would kill me, but I can't wait to get rid of several inches!

I am so excited to cut and color my hair after the wedding! I've been growing it out but am ready for something slightly shorter and more managable.

I've always had long hair, so there's no growing out or post-wedding chop for me. I plan to just look like me for (and after!) the wedding. :)

    I'm with Driftslikesmoke.

I have no urge to cut my hair.  Maybe just a few inches but nothing drastic.  I'm just having regularly scheduled "clean ups" at the salon and ends tipped, but not a real haircut (2-3 inches off) until after.  I'm used to my long hair and so is T.

I have a year to go and trying really hard to keep it growing.  I usually let it grow long and get a dramatic short hair cut every year.  I'm itching to get it chopped, but I'm going to be patient.  After the wedding you will be sure to find me with a post wedding chop.

About halfway through growing my hair out, I realized it was silly to not look like me on my wedding day, so I cut it early.

I grew out all my layers so that I can put my hair up for the wedding but you better believe I will be getting my hair done right after the wedding!

I did Locks of Love a couple of months after the wedding. So I chopped off 11". I love it!

I've always had long hair but I kept my hair really long for the wedding. I wanted to chop it all off (like Katie Holmes's current hair style) but hubby was sad when he found out so I ended up cutting it a lot less then I originally intended.

I've always wanted long hair but have never been able to stick to my guns and not chop it.  I'm pushing myself to go long for the wedding updo but after the wedding there shall be a chop. :)

I'll be chopping mine off to about my shoulders.  I've been growing it out for the past year and a half for the wedding and it's starting to get on my nerves!

I chopped mine off about a month before we got engaged.... and I have to say, while it was nice, I do miss it. And Obviously I'm trying to grow it out again now... so I don't think there will be a major chop after the wedding for me!

I can't wait! I can't cut it too short because my hair is very thick and wavy, but it is getting so long now it takes forever to style!

I think I'll be cutting mine pretty short.  I'd do it now, but I want to look like "me" for the wedding and "I" have long hair.  I only cut my hair short once and then promptly grew it back out so short's pretty unusual for me.  On the other hand, I'm really loving Jennifer Nettles' (of Sugarland) short hair.  We'll see if I have the guts to do it!

Caitlanc- I love her hair as well! It's so short, sassy, and fun.

I did the P.W.C. and...well it was short. I'm growing it back out :)

While I can't say it was a chop , I had a change (major to me but not so big to a lot of people) I have thick wavy hair to my butt (well did pre cut) But I cut layers into it. They look nice now ,but a few months back they were just TOO short. It's still not the right length to do what I was planning to do with my hair but I've found a good style anywho Post wedding chop: Did you? Will You? : wedding Icon Biggrin

I didn't even get married yet and I just chopped it off 3 weeks ago.  I was sick of it cause my hair is super long and I thought I was going to wear it down for the wedding.  I decided to wear my hair up and could only do it with medium hair length.  So I went to the salon and my stylist cut 6 inches.  I love it now!!

I'm growing it out now, but plan on getting layers cut into it before the wedding (though I don't want to lose any length).  After the wedding, I may chop off the bottom layer just so it looks healthier, but I don't think I'm gonna do a whack job on it.

I can't wait to cut my hair. I'm going crazy dealing with all the extra mess in the morning. I'm itching to cut it before the wedding!! I'm going to try to wait out the next two months until the wedding because I'm wearing my hair down and already have had my hair trail with awesome results. Ohh I can't wait until after the wedding! Chop chop for sure!!

I'm not planning on growing my hair out for the wedding (any longer than it already is) so I'm not going to chop it all off afterwards, either! I've had long hair for oh, 6 years now - and I totally cringe when I look back at the short haired pictures of me, yikes!!!

I've had longish hair for the past few years, but I've been growing it out longer since getting engaged.  I will definitely take some inches off after the wedding, but I doubt I will cut it past shoulder-length.

Oh my goodness, I can't wait to get rid of this hair. I have to wait a little bit though; I'm a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding and don't want to make any crazy changes until then.

Through my life I have had my hair so many different lengths.  I have found that I look the best with long hair, and I am just figuring it out close to my wedding so I am growing it out and keeping it long!

i've always had fairly long hair, so i guess i don't really understand growing hair out just for the wedding, only to chop it all of immediately afterward. anyway, it will just be regular trims for me before and after the wedding.

I'm going to do it, but I want to let it grow a bit more so that I can donate to Locks of Love - I've already done it twice, and I think that this will be the last time, since I've decided that I like my hair short.  But I still want it long for the wedding so I can do an updo :)

I want some BANGS!!!! I'm letting it grow out so it doesn't end up all in my face...I can't wait to have my layers back and get about 2 inches cut off so it's over all healthier. I lopped off a ton of hair about 3 years ago. It was literally down to my bra strap and i cut it to below my ear. I loved it! But i missed long hair.

I have gone through my cycle. Long to short with the hair going to locks of love.  Luckily my wedding fell on a long cycle, but was ready to be cut short just afterwards, so that is what I did.  It feels good to have it short and might actually keep it this way for a while :)

I've always had long hair, but it was time for a change. I waited 8 months after the wedding. I kept putting if off, but now that i did, i love it. It's a huge change but I'm happy with it. Husbnad likes it too but it took him a few days.
