@Carpie: ty!!! GO FOR IT! i LOVE how much lighter my head feels :) and donate if u can too!! i think most places don't have a length requirement anymore, as long as it's tieable in a ponytail :)

@Saeliz: thanks girl! i try to shampoo every other day so that i don't dry it out and keep the shine... i lucked out with my hairstylist, the products he uses are amazing and doesn't damage hair!

@missjyc: lol too funny about looking lawyerly... didn't realize you were in law school! I laugh a little about that because throughout college I always had my hair dyed crazy colors... and it was purple up until about 2 weeks before I started law school when I decided I didn't want to be known as "that girl with the purple hair" by the profs. So, I dyed it brown. lol.
I love it! It frames your face beautifully and looks so much healthier and has a lot of volume. You've made me want to cut my hair.

It looks amazing! I think it fits your face beautifully! I'm seriously considering doing the post wedding chop myself, and actually just posted it on my FB earlier and everyone freaked out! I'm still probably gonna do it though... I've been growing it for three years now and I'm sick of the upkeep!

i actually just mailed my donation to wigs for kids... if any of you are contemplating a major PWC, i HIGHLY recommend donating! i heard that locks of love charges for their patients (so i chose WFK) but there are several other reputable companies, including one just for burn victims!!!!

When I read the thread title, I was afraid my (secret) reaction would be "Oh, no, she cut off all her beautiful hair!" But after seeing the pictures, I love it. The cut AND the color are beautiful. I actually think I even like it better than the long hair...and I am biased in favor of long hair. But your hair looks beautiful!

so i did it! this past saturday, i chopped off more than a foot of my hair to donate to wigs for kids :D... i've had long hair since freshman yr of hs (12+ years!) so i'm def still getting used to the weight change LOL (i have ridic thick hair)! DH kinda cried a bit inside (he absolutely loves my long hair) but he's growin to love it! :)
