I just had an idea- since my hairstylist will be coming to our wedding she will be around the mornign after. I think i'm going to see if she can chop my hair before our brunch! (i am so sick of it long) anyone else anxious to get rid of some hair?

Haha that's awesome!  If you do want to get it chopped, then why not do it before brunch - you'll get to show off your new husband and a new, cute 'do :-)

I think that would be completely awesome! If you're comfortable with it, go for it. :) I am so ready for a new hairdo- my hair is not super long, but I used to wear it chin length and grew it out starting 6 years ago. I am so ready for a new snazzy shorter do!

Oh man, I should totally consider this. I'm actually halfway tempted to cut it before the wedding, but Mr. Bunny like it long, so I'm trying to hold out.

I think that would be so cool!  Your family would be so surprised to see you with your new 'do at the brunch.

This reminds me--I need to make an appointment for my post-wedding chop!  My hair has been driving me crazy and now that it's hot out, it's time to lose some length!

I think that is an excellent idea! I have been trying to figure out how I could work a post-wedding chop into our schedule before the honeymoon as well. Go for it!

My fiance is dreading the post-wedding hair chop! I've been growing it out since we got engaged (the longest it's been since he's known me), but it's driving me CRAZY.  The things we do for good wedding pictures :)  Anyways: go for it! If you've got your stylist there, why wait? It'll make for good pictures and a good story.

That's so fun! I wonder what the percentage is of brides who grow their hair out for the wedding and chop it immediately after. I'm growing mine out now, and I'm sure I'll be one to cut it soon after the wedding -though maybe not the morning after!

About a year before we got engaged I cut my hair super short! We are talking above my shouders just below my ears short and it was the shortest I had EVER cut it. So, I decided to start letting it grow out for the wedding. Well, that was almost two years ago (we got engaged Sept 2007). So for nearly two years I've only gotten my hair trimmed knowing that we were planning the wedding. I have a friend that also decided to let her hair grow anticipating my wedding and her being a bridesmaid.

I have gone to get my hair trimmed (its layers) many times and thought, "Screw this. I'm going to get about 5 inches cut. " LOL Reason sets in and I always chicken out. But, it makes me want to do it more knowing that I DON'T want to do it until after the wedding for some reason.

Oh my gosh I am so glad you said that...I love my haird stylist and she will be invited to the wedding; I had a dream one night that I would have her go cut my hair right before our exit from the reception and completely surprise everyone (feasibly I know that can't happen...but perhaps the next day it could happen!)! I usually have a cute inverted bob that a little longer than my chin...and its going to be a few inches down my back by the time the wedding rolls around; I can guarantee I'm going to want to chop it off STAT!
