Hi bees! Wedding is over and although I am very happy being a newlywed, I find myself depressed that it’s all done. No more late night DIY sessions, or bridal fittings. No more wedding planning…. I can’t even bring myself to watch four weddings! haha! Post partum… wedding style!
Is this normal? Do you ladies whose big day has passed feel depressed that’s it’s all over? How did you get over it?

I’m so concerned that this is going to happen to me lol. Especially since we won’t have time for a honeymoon right after the wedding and will probably have to wait until December/Jan. I’m dreading the end of the wedding weekend…

It is probably normal to feel a little blue post the wedding….
It is such an emotional event….
Maybe, you could plan a fun trip with your dh?
Something to look fwd to?

We don’t leave for our honeymoon until aug 6th. I think once we are away in paradise I can really start feeling married and move on. We came home to everything the same… work and roommates. Once we get the house to ourselves I can start obsessing over something new like home decor or… babies!!!

I say the best thing is to find something else to get obsessed with. This happended to me. My daughter came back to live with me which helped and then I got obsessed with finding a dog! We now have a 9 month old American Eskimo! You will figure it out, it’s normal.

@Carolyn72: My husband would kill me if i brought home a dog haha. I think it’s just having something to not only obsess about but to love and take care of. My wedding was my baby!

hahah i’ve been feeling this way as well, only we also took our honeymoon right away. Our honeymoon was amazing, as was the wedding and I love my new husband like crazy. But… now there’s nothing to look forward to. Joking, I said to my husband, oh… this is why people have kids 😛
