Oh that's so great to hear! Would love to see photos as well, as the Grandview is VERY high on my venue shortlist....
Would you mind sharing (by PM if you prefer) some of your costs like Photographer & flowers? Did you have a DJ or ceremony musicians? Did you attend one of their tastings and/or make a separate appointment? Would appreciate any info you are willing to pass on!

My wedding took place in the ballroom at the Grandview August 16. We and our guests cannot stop raving about the venue and staff. From the impeccable room, to the food to the service, it was amazing. We have not one complaint.
Here are some notes about the vendors we used that you may find helpful; I'll post photos when we get them from the photographer:
FLORIST: Marianne's in Poughkeepsie - we absolutely loved the way they turned out and her pricing is extremely fair.
PHOTOGRAPHER: Lori O'Toole does amazing work, is truly a great business woman to work with (very organized) and makes you feel very comfortable during shoots.
HAIR: Lisa at Euphoria in Hopewell did the wedding party hair and she is great.
NAILS/OUT OF TOWN GUEST HAIR: We went to Marlene Weber the day before for our nails and out of town guests had their hair done the day of the wedding. I liked working with them because they have a wedding coordinator and are open on Sundays, which isn't the case at all salons and is helpful when trying to schedule many appointments. However, I will never recommend them. Their pricing is completely out of touch when considering the quality and level of service. Our mani/pedis cost $65 because they tack on the gratuity for you. This is far more than I pay on a regular basis and the quality is no better than you'd find at the average nail salon. The blow outs for our out of town guests were $55 and they were asked to arrive with their hair washed and dry already "to save time"!!!
MAKEUP: Jenny Magliano is a freelance makeup artist and she does phenomenal work. Not once, other than reapplying lip color, did anyone in the wedding party require a touch up and our wedding took place on a 90 plus degree day!
