We are getting married in my hometown. Due to my fiance's work he really thinks we need to have some sort of reception in the state we currently live in. We are looking at having the 'reception' in our current city about 3 weeks after our wedding. It will be cocktials and finger foods from about 3:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. on a Saturday. My fiance wants to send out STDs for this function so there are no hurt feelings for those not being invited to the wedding and reception in my hometown. Is this o.k.? What would the wording be for the STD and invite? Any suggestions/advice are greatly appreciated!!! :)
