3 hours is a long time, can you find somebody to tag along and help you with holding it? I'm sure you can find somewhere that will let you do a quick change--maybe do wedding dress first, people will be amused to let a lady in a wedding dress change her clothes rather than annoyed :)
@FruitLoops: I vote option 3! You obviously got the qipao because you wanted do something traditional and it meant something to you and your family and/or his family, so it'd be a shame to not take pictures in it! Three hours is plenty of time. Like PP said, maybe bring a friend and have them be there to help with carrying around/changing into the other dress?
It's ultimately up to you, but you'd hate to look back and regret not having pictures of you in the Chinese wedding dress..
Do both! I think you'll have enough time. Maybe do the qipao pics first and lug along your wedding dress (since it'll be trashed anyway). And come back and show pics!
@MissPine: i totally agree! do the red dress ones first, then trash the white one! it'll be a fun way to end the shoot, too! :)

Hello Bees,
I have a session with my photographer this weekend for a post wedding shoot. It is part rock the dress, part additional wedding photos as my wedding plan was slightly altered by Hurricane Irene, and we didn’t get as much time for photos as originally planned. I’m a little torn on the plan for this and would love suggestions from people who’ve done post wedding sessions.
