Weird, Jessie, I had one too a week or so ago. In mine, we were getting married in a cave and my husband wasn't my husband. I was marrying a stranger dressed in a Halloween costume.
Maybe this is just the last little residual wedding stress finally disappearing? BTW, my husband has moved on to pregnancy dreams.
The last three nights in a row he has dreamed about a different co-worker announcing her pregnancy.
I just had a wedding dream, about 6 mos post-wedding. It was more focused on photography, and I think that is since my sister was gonig thru my pics while in town. In my dream, we were doing a lot more artsy shots, and sad to say, I was in most of them alone. I guess I secretly wanted some "editorial" photos...even though we did get some less traditional ones. <steps away from ANTM>
Hmm....I would think there is some unresolved feeling towards either the DJ or the string duo, but you said you liked your DJ. I don't know. Weird indeed.
I've been having some too! Its been a while since I've had one, but they are along the same lines where the wedding hasn't happened yet! So strange! Glad I'm not the only one!
Haha that's funny!!
I too had some weird ones after the wedding, like forgetting to send out invites, and would wake up and be like, "The wedding is over, and people came to it!" LOL
Hmm... I don't know what that means!
I had an interesting different variation on the wedding anxiety dream. I was hanging out with spouse, and we heard on the news that North Korea was sending ICBMs that were targeted to hit us in a couple of hours. Mr. DG asked me, "What are we going to do with our last couple of hours?" and all I could think of was finding my two best friends.
I think it symbolizes how important my friends are to me, and the fear of letting go of the intensity of those relationships now that I'm married. Then again, maybe I'm overthinking it!
I think I had one post wedding dream. What surprised me was all the dreams I had about my BFs wedding 5 months after mine!!! I had dreams for about 1 week straight prior to her wedding about the rehearsal dinner. I got her all married off last weekend and haven't had another dream since. I thought it was so weird that I was having the stress dreams about someone else's wedding!!!
Haha! No idea what that means, but I totally just laughed out loud about it. ;)
Oh, that is funny! I still have wedding dreams, sometimes, and I attribute it to perusing Weddingbee all day.
Mrs. Spring is correct. I used to teach dream anaylsis at a state university and I think your dream means that you have some left over wedding related stress... the fear that something would go wrong. In fact, you may continue to have these types of dreams at times when you are feeling anxiety in your everyday life. For example, did you ever have a dream that you were in school and you couldn't find your class or couldn't remember the combination to your locker? Those types of dreams related to school are just anxiety based dreams. So, perhaps you have some anxiety in your life right now... something you are afraid is going to go wrong? What do you think?

This morning, I had a wedding stress dream, which was weird because my wedding was almost 3 months ago! In the dream, we had a DJ for the ceremony (in the dream, it was the DJ that we had at our reception) instead of the string duo that we had. As I was getting ready to walk down the aisle, instead of playing "Air on a G String" by Bach, he started playing "Just Dance" by Lada Gaga! I was livid and started yelling at him, in front of everyone! I told him we weren't paying him and I ripped up his check.
The dumb thing is that I really loved our DJ--he did a great job and was easy to work with.
Wonder what this means?? ;)
