Hello October Bees!!!! I’m a married woman now, woot! How is everyone doing? I don’t have any pictures to post right now but I wanted to see how things were going with you all. Who’s married now?! =) *raises hand*
So, right now I’m washing a billion things — just got done with some of our new dishes and pots/pans. Kinda running around our apartment like crazy trying to organize things. Boxes are everywhere and tissue paper has taken over, help!
We didn’t live together before the wedding, but we got an apartment together right before. He started living here before because our apartment is much closer to his job. So, it worked out nicely for him and I’d bring stuff over slowly. But now I need to organize it all. We still have quite a bit of stuff to buy. We are renting a two bedroom apartment because it didn’t cost much more than a one bedroom. We figured we’d like the extra space. Right now we have 2 computer chairs, a nightstand, and his bed here. =P So, our apartment is empty but we’re getting there! We still have to move our stuff from our parent’s houses.
Anyone else find themselves busy with unpacking all their wedding gifts and getting situated? It feels so good to have our own place. I’m loving being able to set things up however I want and making our apartment feel homey. <3
Our wedding and honeymoon was great and hopefully I’ll have time to post a few pictures soon. Just wanted to drop in and say congrats to everyone who is married now and to keep holding on to those who are waiting and pulling out their hair from planning. I was ready to throw in the towel and say eff it towards the end because I was just so busy and tired……….but……..it was all worth it. Our wedding was beautiful and all the work was worth it. It was hard to get things together but I’m so glad I busted my butt. <3

@weddingbound: I think it’s called Post wedding depression haha I’m in the same boat. Congrats to you all! I wish I could re-do the whole wedding day so that I could remember more (I literally remember half the day maybe?) but I would never want to plan the whole thing again!
We have some pictures from our day – here is a link to a blog our photographer posted – http://www.mstudiofoto.com/blog/2012/10/11/maggie-martin-wedding/

@Bwed2012: I know I def wouldn’t want to plan again… Lol but I def think I have a case of post wedding depression!
Omg your pics are beautiful and you were stunning!! You got your pics back early… I’ve only gotten a couple of sneak peaks back!!

I still can’t believe it’s over either. Everything went perfectly… I literally wouldn’t change a THING!
And can I just say that whoever came up with the concept of the honeymoon needs some kind of reward?! We had such a good time… saw so many cool things. It was great to unwind after the wedding and reflect on everything that happened. My sister and her boyfriend went on the trip with us so we got to spend a good deal of time talking it all out with them as well.
Andddd…. we just got all of our photos back YESTERDAY. They are sooo good. I’m so pleased. We got about 745 photos and there isn’t one that I don’t like. Sure, I don’t like AWESOME in all of them but I definitely look like me… making all the faces I make! HAHA.

Man… what an awesome experience :).

@weddingbound: Nope, I’m glad the wedding planning part is over. I was kind of shocked by how quickly the day went by. I am mainly anxious over waiting for pictures which should take no more than a month to get. I’m hoping the pictures turned out nicely.

Yay! Looking forward to some photos! 🙂 I was just about to post some guest photos since I’m still waiting on the photos from the photographer. Should be here next week hopefully!

@MrsWTD: Yeah, I think I may do the same!!! Our photos should be here soon. Our photographer said there’s a month turn-around time so we should have them by the 7th of November.

@Bwed2012: I like the picture of you in the window
OMG purple bridesmaids galore! I love that shade! Now I am wishing I can have a large wedding so I can have purple ladies beside me too!
I love the traditional dress of Mom and Dad!

@SuperDuperBrit: I can hardly wait to see your recaps too!

My sister-in-law took this picture of me. She had a better angle to get my face but then she took this one of my handsome hubby:
Even though the angle for the picture isn’t the same as the one she took of me you can still see how excited he is. I love it =)
Here’s my dad and I walking in.
Cutting our cake.
I fed him a much smaller portion. LOL, see I’m struggling here?!
This picture is one of my absolute favorites. My little sister was one of my flower girls (we had three total). She kinda ran all over the place but my sister-in-law took this picture of her staring up at me in awe. So cute!
Flower girl dance time!! =)
Here’s the cake we cut. Pretty darn perfect <3 Some of our guests knew exactly what bakery it came from without us telling them. LOL, we got our cake from Maryland versus Virginia. We’re both from Maryland and Brendan’s parents cake came from the same bakery. =) Anyways, they guessed correctly!
He’s pretty darn handsome. I look completely giddy. I got to take that good looking man home 😉 SNAPS
Some pictures were taken by my sister-in-law and others were taken by a friend. =) Can’t wait to get back the ones from our photographer!!

I like your hair down, is that the way you normally wear it?
I love the cake toppers! And that cake, I like the “design” of the “icing”.
Beautiful details on the dress. Just stunning!
