This isn’t blue topaz, but it’s called mystic topaz. It was heat treated to reach this color. It scintillates somewhere between purple/grey/green depending on the angle and the light. This picture shows a lot of color.

Here’s my favorite ring – my awesome engagement ring 🙂  I fall in love with it over and over again each day 🙂  It’s a 10mm sky blue topaz in a halo/bezel set with eternity band 🙂  I can’t yet get a photo that does it justice!

I had this one made to go with the blue saphire ring guard from my grandmother as my something blue on the wedding day. Its an ice blue topaz solitaire. I don’t ever wear it on its own, but it looks lovely with the saphire ring guard:

@Lizabean:  Thanks 🙂 I find that I prefer asscher and emerald gemstones, but RB/cushion/radiant cuts when it comes to diamonds!
