Hey Bees! I just sent my 50% deposit for my boudoir session and they sent me a questionnaire to fill out. It has questions about what kind of pictures you want to take, from Maxim-ish, to Playboy-ish, to Vougue-ish. It got me thinking........What kinds of inspiration pics have you seen that you want to model from? I need some inspiration!!

I had some inspiration pics but may be too racy to post here :) I had a similar questionnaire, chose Maxim and Playboy and that's what we ended up doing. I googled racy celeb photos extensively and these were my favorites: Carmen Elektra(Playboy style), Jessica Alba (Maxim style), Christina Aguilera (in-between). FI was highly amused by my dedicated research ("I got rid of my celeb collection for you and now you're building one??") 
HAHA that's funny!! That's a smart idea to look up celebs....they always seem to have pretty sexy photos.
These are great I am a little over the upside pose with your feet on the headboard.

I think it's important to remember that while YOU've seen that upside down pose with the feet on the headboard six million times, your guy probably hasn't. So to him, it'll just be a sexy shot of your whole body. :)
I love the upside down one it flattens out my belly flab lol!!! here are some of my inspirations...

That's a great idea that your photographer asked you to provide inspiration shots. Boudoir sessions can go a lot of different directions. My friend did a casual boudoir shoot for me a few years ago when FI and I were long-distance, for his Valentine's Day present, and I remember her showing me some images beforehand that were very artsy and almost museum-quality to give an idea of what she thought we should go for. I thought for a moment and then said, "Hmm, I was thinking something a little more... slutty!" It worked out great. :)

I looked at Victoria's Secret catalogs. Hair inspiration was Shakira from her SheWolf video(not joking. :-))
Haha. I wish I had the guts to do one of these! I'm afraid people who shouldn't see them would find them!
@HB: honestly i think you have a decision of how much skin etc you want to show, it's nothing more than wearing a bikini, know what i mean

@crebre: Isn't the heel and thong thing awesome! Artsy and yet sexy. I love those pics you posted, btw...Crystal Renn is freaking gorgeous!
@lr: the sweater is by far my favorite one (probably why i am working on the leg press machine more than anything else)
@minutiae: omg i adore that one and have saved it in my archives. I am still working out etc but think I'll be in much better shape to take the pictures in september or october. and i adore crystal renn i think her body is amazing :D

It's neat because different types of photography are categorized, i.e. Vintage & Retro, Fun & Giggles ... to more scandalous! Lots of inspiration there!

Have you looked around? What are typical prices for these sessions?
@Cre-I know. But a lot of the time I have a hard time putting that on. Maybe I should judt do it to go out of my comfort zone?

They're sadly way too expensive, but, JOY, my photographer is randomly offering all 2010 clients a choice between a free "redeye" session (basically a TTD session without any trashing) in their brand new studio downtown, OR a free boudoir session. Three guesses what I'm picking! Don't tell FI. :)

@HB: definitely girlie!! OWN it! most days (especially when I am more toned and less flab lol) I adore my body my curves the softness and the curve of my behind. To me I think I have a highly feminine silhouette and I love it... from what I have seen from pictures you and I are the same size as well. Why not play dress up. I really want to have a trench coat hats fishnets and stilettos on and pretend I'm angelina in mr. and mrs. smith. I can sooo get into character lol! Now I hope that some of this flab is gone because I am losing the boob to gut ratio lol but other than that things are good :D
These are so nice... I love boudiour pics... I want to have them done by a good friend of mine with a great eye for this thing... before my wedding as a wedding gift... but i personally think that black & white photos and the right poses can really make something out of nothing...
These are something that can even be done at home...for those that dont feel adventerous enough to have them done professionally I feell Black and White is the Key to DIY boudiour pics though. I did this at home with a tripod & a Kodak Easy Share Camera.
I think it is all about feeling sexy and feeling like you look sexy.... personally for me i go into sexy mode as a naughty vixen... in trashy lingerie and lots of makeup... which is really funny because ... this is totally not me in normal life. I think sometimes you need to step way out of your normal zone to be comfortable...with doing something like this..
I encourage all your girls who loves these pics and doesnt feel comfortable doing something like this .... try it at home... either with yourself or a close friend or maybe even just playing around with your lover

there is no examples for plus sizes??? i will love to see some plus sizes shots
@magenta: most of my pictures were of plus sized models (size 12 and up baby :o))... But I am definitely posting my pictures when they are done :o)
