A big Thank You for posting Crystal Renn... I went searching for more photos of her online and found a brilliant set where its just a bed, a mirror, a window and her. Its so simple and perfectly natural and its definitely going into my inspiration folder.
Heres a beautiful shot from that set...
My personal preference is definitely towards the subtle rather than the explicit, and I'd actually love to recreate nudes from art rather than a magazine spread.
@cybele: i love these!!! and i adore crystal renn... i think i want something very artistic and for me i think that a lot of the vogue shots are.. i think i like the portraiture style of photography it looks more like a painting, instead of something more common.. it could come from my first job (i worked in a fine art gallery)

I went to a bridal show and talked to ladies from Vavoom Pinups Their site has great galleries. One thing I noticed with almost all of the shots is props. Hula hoops, cupcakes, musical instruments even a tire. I think props help each shot look unique.

I really want to do this when it comes time. I just hope I have a good photographer because I'm always so awkward in front of the camera!

I love these because the are completely modest, and yet at the same time, absurdly sexy. My FI saw "plus size boudoir photography" in my Google search box and he was like, "Honey, you know I'm not really into that sort of thing, right?" I was like oh, yeah... don't worry about it...
I think something like this is different, though. And just very darn sexy! If he doesn't like them, at least *I* will!!
o i will definitely be getting some of these done, not sure whether it will be before the wedding or as an anniversary gift. cos my wedding dress will be a bespoke corset handmade by a girl i used to work with, and omg it will lend itself beautifully to boudoir shots, and it would be a nice thing to do for our anniversary i think, a way to get the outfit back out of the closet!
for my dads 40th birthday, my mum did him a boudior album, and took me along with her on the day cos she was so nervous, it was actually really nice and the photos are amazing, my mum is a shoe person, so every photo was centred around a different pair of shoes!
one thing i know i want to do is a maternity boudoir shot, i think it will be so special to get some nice tasteful shots of our first bump!
